Lulu's is a great breakfast place. We took advice of earlier reviews and got there early to avoid the crowds and get the cinnamon buns while fresh. Got there at 5:30 am and there was only a small # of locals. Great waitress. No unsweetened ice tea ready but she brewed it while we waited for meal. Huevo Ranchero for me. Huge meal for 5.99. On Cape Cod 5.99 gets you a glass of water & toast. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfect, moist but not wet, nice larger pieces not all chopped and grainy. They must use some big eggs, 3 eggs doesn't make that much at home. The hash-browns were cooked perfectly for me, grilled crispy on the outside, moist on the inside then tossed when placing on plate. That's the way you do hash-browns. The bacon was great. Cooked crispy, thick, a bit of chew to it, great smokey grilled flavor. All bacon is good as far as I'm concerned but this rates an excellent. The ranchero sauce was green pepper based, nice heat, made me forget about asking for Tabasco for my eggs. Only negative was the Refried beans. They tasted good with the shredded cheese on top but they weren't hot (temp wise) enough. Everything else was piping hot. I would order again. My son had the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. A plate size CFS with white gravy, 3 scrambles eggs & 1/2 a plate of hash-browns. $8.99. He loved it. Hash-browns & eggs same as mine (as described above). CFS was excellent. Hot, moist, not too chewy, breading was nice and light not dense and heavy. He ate everything.

We had to stop at this famous cafe for their 3 pound cinnamon roll. I have seen them all over food network and other websites. We started off with breakfast and I just have 1 word to say, YUM! The food was so fresh, prices were great and filling. I had eggs with potato and eggs with bacon. You got of ton of eggs and a lot of bacon. They didn't skimp on any food. My friend had the biscuits and gravy and loved it. Neither one of us went hungry or spent a ton of money. Then came dessert. We kept seeing the huge cinnamon rolls coming out and we tried so hard to not get one, but who can resist. This roll was huge and hot! I mean it came out hot with a ton of icing on it. Holy cow! This was the best tasting thing I have ever eaten. We took some bites of it, and the amazing waitress wrapped it up real good for us and sent us home with a big bowl of more icing to go. I loved this place and I plan on going back soon. Thank you for amazing service, hospitality and food!!
